Hi everyone, I hope that you all had a great New Year! As promised, Oddly Aroused is back to start another year. You might notice that Uncle Flannery looks a little different than before. Creating this strip is always a work in progress and I do my best to improve on it everytime I sit down to work on it. Sometimes the decisions made aren’t the best ones, but each one is an effort to improve the strip and make it more enjoyable for the readers. So, sit back and enjoy Oddly Aroused for what promises to be another great year. There will be some exciting things happening in the upcoming months, so stay tuned. Have a great week! – Jim
Update: I just found out after posting this that David Bowie has died after an 18 month battle with cancer. The world was a better place with his presence and his loss is keenly felt. R.I.P. Major Tom.

The cellphone notification ring: It is the sirensong of my generation. For all the good social networking has done, sometimes I wonder where we would be if it haden’t been invented.
I love the internet…it’s allowed me to share this webcomic with the world (my little part of the world anyway), but I often think that we all might be better off without it. We all got by just fine without cell phones and computers and all that good stuff in times past. I think I’d probably read a lot more and be much more productive creatively as well…But there’s this webcomic (shrug), so I can’t knock technology entirely 😉
