I had a very busy weekend beloved readers, so in lieu of a Monday strip, here’s a quick drawing (done with Manga Studio 5 software) of the loverly Sonya Crimson in an earlier incarnation (with long hair).I hope you enjoy it. I’ll try to get a strip out by the end of the week, but if not, rest assured, Oddly Aroused will continue next Monday! Take care and see you soon! – Jim
I’m really digging the long hair. Very nice work Jim.
Thanks, balthazar! 🙂
It looks really good on her! Long flowing hair is a bit generic on fantasy heroines, though, so for that reason I prefer her usual hairstyle. It’s more personal.
I totally agree with you, khelatar. I prefer the short hairstyle myself and she will be back to that soon. In this flashback sequence she is not quite Sonya Crimson yet, but is heading that way…she just doesn’t know it yet 😉
First off … I really like this rendering of Sonja. The hair is obvious and fantastic, but the whole rendering seems to have captured something that lends a slightly new facet to admire. She looks great, I love the effect of her walking out of a firestorm of some sort. That look is so determined and youthful at once … 😛
As far as her evolution from Agnes to Sonya, you have great opportunities to occasionally throw in various flashback panels of her in different stages as she finds and settles into her look. We don’t really know her age or the years involved from inception to present (yet), so you have flexibility in sketching out an “evolutionary” chart to show stages, mistakes, alternate paths taken, etc. I hope to see that every now and then.
As always, thank you for sharing!
And as always, 3X, Thanks for reading! 🙂
