New Font
I’ve decide to use a new font for the dialogue on the comic. I hadn’t been happy with what I’ve been using for a long time. The one I’d been using was from a free software bundle that I’d downloaded a long time ago and I was just using it because it was the best of the lot available on my computer. I thought it was time for a change. I was going to use my own handwritten fonts, scanned and uploaded to my computer, but I decided to download a font from www.Blambot.com instead. It’s probably better than what I could have come up with on my own, a lot less effort than trying to come up with my own and the price was right. Attached is an example from last Mondays comic so you can compare. Let me know what you think! – Jim
Looks good.
I read somewhere when they wrote dialog, Stan Lee tended to stress nouns (“Look, Galactus is eating the PLANET!”) while Jack Kirby stressed verbs (“Look, Galactus is EATING the planet!”). For you it seems to be adjectives. 😉
Hmmm…That’s interesting! I never actually thought about what I should be bolding, I was just playing it by ear. But this gives me something to think about for next time.
