Hi everyone! This week I’m trying out a few new digital brushes. I like the outcome, but it’ll take some practice for me to see what they can do and how I can utilize them for the comic. The new story arc promises to be full of adventure, excitement and cryptic mystery! Agnes gets closer to the character of Sonya Crimson than she ever has before and you’ll learn more about the character of Flannery Quirk. Keep checking in and we’ll see you right here next week! – Jim
BTW, if you’d like to see a beautiful hi-res version of this weeks comic, check out my Patreon page!
Some rapid twists and turns here! Agnes is not in Kansas anymore (if she ever was). Unless of course that’s what Kansas was called back in the day…
The second panel reminds me a bit of a winter landscape scene you did back in BT. Only not as winter-y. 😉
Also, I keep thinking that round thing on the wall in the first panel looks familiar somehow.
I remember that exact winter scene you mention, khelatar. Someone had actually brought it up to me the other day (Lila had used it as her FB cover image). Maybe I had that in the back of my mind when I did this one. I hope with all the changes over at LoB that the Barwench Tales comics aren’t lost. It would be a shame for all of Jason’s hard work and the work I did on it to be wasted. But I do understand if that’s what they have to do. Maybe they could do an archive or something. As for the image on the wall in the background of the first panel, thanks for noticing. Just my little nod to the Doctor with all this timey-wimey, wibbly wobbly stuff going on 😉
I’ve heard of a “painted desert” but… 😉
I tried a little something new. It’s a technique I’ll have to work on some more.
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis, and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!
YES!!! 😀
