As Quirk’s tale continues, he clarifies the fact that his story is tied very closely into the Wold Newton legend, perpetrated by the author, Philip Jose Farmer. We also now know for certain that he is immortal, or close enough to it, by his own admission. What does this mean for our story and for Agnes Porter? Time will tell!
Sorry I’m getting this posted a little late. Keep watching as Quirks story unfolds!
Ooh, I’d almost forgotten about the Wold Newton family. Immortality *and* time travel does let a guy get around, I suppose.
Though waitaminute… (‘Meteoric Flashback’ – heehee, the “Random” button found it for me almost at once.) Trudy said he’s told them an ancestor of theirs was there. Was he talking about himself? Or someone else?
Looks like he’s been referring to himself all along, khelatar. It’s not something that Agnes and Trudy are privy to, as of yet! And I really must work on the navigation on this site! It’s an issue for sure and something I’ll have to get taken care of. Thanks for commenting!
I love the whole Wold Newton Universe “game”. I’ve bought many books based on research from the Wold Newton siteand have acquired quite a library of Wold Newton-centric treasures!
Ah, we like a bit of Wold Newton…so many possibilities.
That’s the truth! Ties everything together nicely!
