Riddle of the Sands

I think Agnes is beginning to understand the gravity of her situation; isolated and trapped…a stranger in a strange land!
What I’d like to know is how and why does this little man know Flannery Quirk and just where is Quirk?
If you check back next week, you might just find out.
Have a great week everyone – Jim
Nice colouring on this one. I get the feeling its going to get pretty chilly with the sun going down though. Might be time to invest in a good cloak.
Thank you, balthazar! Regarding your Ice age comment from last week; I would say that the 20,000 year mark specified was more of a ballpark figure off the top of my head. It’s not exactly REH’s Hyborian Age, just an alternate fictional universe that is unrecorded in history and might not necessarily coincide with our own facts on things.
I love those forgotten eons, so much fun. 🙂
I’m with you on that score, balthazar! Reading stories in that genre is nice way to escape the mundane grind of modern everyday life and lose yourself in another world.
Seconding the remark on the coloring, this strip is a real beauty.
Not so sure about a cloak though…
Thanks, khelatar! I was gonna have a whole thing where she grabs the little guys blue wrap to use as a cloak when she got his knife. I still might have her do that, but the strip doesn’t lend itself to little nuances like that. I find I have to streamline a lot of stuff like that. I was hoping to be posting 2 or 3 times a week by now, but the spare time that I thought I would have from my day job allowing me to work on the comic has disappeared for the time being.
