It’s time to fish or cut bait. This version of Trudy likes procrastination as much as our own version does…which is not at all! I’m all for a gal that takes hold of the reins and gets on with it, but her motivation seems questionable. can she be trusted? Do our Trudy/DarkSonya’s run true to type in both worlds? You’ll have to stay tuned and find out!
I hope you enjoy this weeks Super-duper Dark Sonya pin-up. Have a great week and we’ll see you right here at Oddly Aroused central next week!
I’d say it’s more of a scroll-down than a pin-up. 😉
One detail that struck me just now is the use of background colors in this sequence. Some of the strips have mood-based backgrounds (I guess the all-white one counts as one of those) while some, like this and the last one, employ a pretty neat pinkish/purple color scheme, with some yellow evening light thrown in. It paints the atmosphere of the place pretty well.
That should read *pale* yellow btw.
I guess if someone printed it off and pinned it on their wall, then it would be a pin-up, as it is now, it could be a scroll-down or a screen-up 😉 I appreciate your comments on the background colouring. I try to put some thought and creativity into the colours and paint a mood. I’m never entirely sure if it works. I want to do the colouring the way my digital art books tell me I should be doing them and the way most cartoonists do it, but I find that I don’t have the patience for that. It seems to work okay, though.
“Book rules” are there to be broken, particularly if you can achieve a pleasing but individualistic style by doing so.
You’re right on that score, paws4thot!
