A little late, but uploaded for your perusal. A deeper look into Agnes’s fantasy, or is it a delusion, of herself as Sonya Crimson in an ancient land. For the first panel, I thought I’d take advantage of the model creation tools from the Second Life program. Anyone who has stuck with me since my Barwench Tales days will remember me using it once or twice on that strip. I hope you enjoy it. Enjoy your week and I’ll see you right here next Monday! – Jim
Eh. We’re all crazy in one way or another. The trick is to find people who are crazy in ways that you can live with, and help make you a better person.
Amen to that, balthazar!
“By the dark demons of Ghita”
I’m now trying to figure out whether that’s a Hindu reference or a Frank Thorne one.
You so get me, khelatar! I wasn’t sure if anyone would catch that reference. You must be my brother from another mother It is very much a reference to Frank Thorne’s Ghita of Alizarr. My own Sonya Crimson is as much influenced by her as she is influenced by Red Sonja. I always assumed that the name Alizarr alluded to the the colour Alizarin Crimson, which is of course the colour red. So, I felt in good company naming my character Sonya Crimson.
