We’ve all imagined at one time or another that we were somewhere or someone else. Usually these flights of fancy are accompanied by a full scale orchestra soundtrack and stunning cinematography or experienced through the blood-soaked pages of a book, filtered through your imagination. Agnes Porter as Sonya Crimson sees things in an exotic and epic scope, casting herself as the stalwart heroine and relegating all others to bit parts or as nefarious villains with evil intent. Is this Dark Sonya a scheming arch-nemesis or an innocent bystander to Sonya’s delusions? It should be fun to find out! Enjoy this window into her world!
See you next week – Jim
*Squints* There is some form of text hidden behind Dark Sonya’s speach bubble.
The funny thing is, I suspect most, if not all people do the same thing Ms. Porter does. Sure, they may not throw as much effort into the details, but everyone sees themselves as the Hero. The overworked office drone is the stoic provider of his family, the harried soccer mom is the tallented jack of all trades, the despotic ruler of a nation, desperatly seeks to bring stability, peace, and prosperity to his beloved country.
Point is, almost no one sees themselves as the Villian, always as the Hero, with their own story to tell.
What will your story be, Hero?
Thanks for the eagle eye balthazar! I don’t know how I missed that. I’ve fixed that and a couple of other typos in the copy. And you’re right, every one of us are the protagonists in our own story. Even so-called villains think they are in the right or merely misunderstood. Anyone who casts themselves as the villain purposefully, is probably truly evil.
